| Off the beaten path in Oklahoma |
It rained for 3 hours last night, not that it stopped me from sleeping. I made pancakes, eggs and English Muffins for breakfast. The girls went swimming while mom and I cleaned up. She worked on the inside and I took the outside. We all took showers to cool off before we hit the road around 11:45am.

| What happened to Route 66? |
Got lost on Route 66 in Oklahoma and ended up on some backroad that rattled the camper so much the shower doors fell off in the bathroom. Finally found a town and had dinner at a cafe on Route 66.

| Which way to civilization? |
As you can guess we only traveled 284 miles with 5.511 mpg today. That is what happens when you never turn off the motor all day, just to keep the AC running. We’ve got to keep the crew happy!
